These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern the access and use of the PopMe application and services. By using PopMe, you fully agree to these rules, which form a binding contract between you and PopMe.
1. Mission and Concept
PopMe is a digital trust infrastructure. Our mission is to ensure that shared content is an authentic reflection of reality, prioritizing trust and context over algorithmic reach.
2. Membership and Registration Conditions
2.1 Eligibility
Use is restricted to real human beings. Use by bots, artificial intelligences, or automated profiles is strictly prohibited.
2.2 Single Registration
Each user may maintain only one (1) active account. Creating multiple accounts to defraud trust systems will result in the ban of all associated profiles.
2.3 Protection of Minors (ECA and LGPD)
PopMe adopts the guidelines of the Statute of the Child and Adolescent (ECA - Law No. 8.069/1990) and the LGPD, prioritizing the minor’s best interest. Users between 13 and under 16 years of age must be represented by their parents or guardians; users between 16 and under 18 years of age must be assisted by their parents or guardians. For users under 12 years of age, PopMe requires specific and highlighted consent from at least one parent or legal guardian. Information regarding data processing for this audience is provided in a simple and accessible manner.
3. User Commitments
3.1 Veracity
The user commits to acting sincerely and ethically on the platform.
3.2 Technical Integrity
It is strictly prohibited to: use software or methods to simulate geolocation (fake GPS); inject pre-recorded or edited videos as if they were real-time captures; attempt to bypass “Proof of Life” or biometric authentication.
3.3 Confidentiality
If participating in product tests or restricted experiences, the user is obliged not to reveal or distribute information, sketches, or media content accessed during the activity.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
4.1 Your Property
You hold all intellectual property rights over the original content you publish on PopMe.
4.2 License of Use
By posting content, you grant PopMe a non-exclusive, royalty-free, and limited license to use, reproduce, and display the content exclusively for the platform’s operation and trust proof validation.
4.3 PopMe Property
The PopMe brand, software, validation methodologies, and graphic elements are the exclusive property of PopMe. Unauthorized reproduction constitutes piracy.
5. Conduct Rules and Moderation
5.1 Prohibited Content
Illicit, slanderous, discriminatory, pornographic content, content that advocates crime, or violates third-party rights will not be tolerated.
5.2 Sanctions System
Non-compliance with these terms may result in: immediate removal of content; temporary account suspension; definitive cancellation and banning in cases of technical fraud or serious violations.
6. Limitation of Liability
6.1 Third-Party Content
PopMe does not endorse user opinions. You are solely responsible for what you post and the legal consequences of your posts.
6.2 Availability
We strive to keep the platform active, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or free of errors due to external factors such as internet issues or hardware failures.
7. Retention and Deletion
7.1 Inactivity
Accounts inactive for an extended period may be deactivated according to our governance policy.
7.2 Deletion
You may request the deletion of your data via the app or by emailing dpo@popme.io. Anonymized data may be kept for statistical purposes and infrastructure security.
8. General Provisions
8.1 Changes
These Terms may be updated. Significant changes will be notified to users in advance.
8.2 Data Protection Officer (DPO)

8.3 Jurisdiction and Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. The forum of Dover, Delaware, is elected to settle any controversies.
